Their fans will be sensing a bit of deja vu all over again as they had a horrendous 2021 campaign, finishing at the bottom of the table. Yes, there is a long way to go, but they need to be picking up points.

In their previous game against the LSG, the SRH won the toss and opted to field first, and they managed to restrict LSG to just 169 runs thanks to some classy bowling from Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Thangarasu Natarajan, and Washington Sundar, who conceded a total of 79 runs from their 12 overs, while picking up 4 wickets. However, Romario Shepherd was expensive, going for 42 runs from 4 overs, while Umran Malik went for 39 runs from 3 overs.
